Top indie shops in Edinburgh

Since moving to Edinburgh, I have tried to make a conscious effort to buy from independent shops wherever I can. I think there is something lovely about supporting a family-run or indie company, who possibly need your custom the most. You don’t have to look far in Edinburgh to find independent shops, markets, boutiques and cafes- and often you can feel real gems that you simple can’t get in huge corporate companies. 24 hours in Exeter, England

When it comes to campus universities, Exeter is possibly one of my favourites to visit. There is something very home-ly about the city, I could definitely see myself living in this kind of place when I’m a little older. It is bustling but at the same time rather tranquil, with both built-up areas and beautiful countryside. It also has an absolutely stunning cathedral, definitely worth popping in!
